About

Frida Miranda is a photographer and visual art director based in Rome, working across hospitality, brand communication and portraiture.

With a background in visual communication, her work is developed through structured image-making, where photography and content are conceived as part of a broader visual system.

Her practice spans documentary, portraiture, editorial and commercial production, maintaining a consistent focus on narrative, context and visual coherence.

She works across Spanish, English and Italian-speaking environments, adapting visual language to different audiences, cultures and communication needs.

The APPROACH

Each project begins with understanding context, audience and objective.

From there, a clear visual direction is defined — connecting subject, space and narrative into a coherent system.

Rather than focusing on individual images, the work is developed as a structure, where direction, production and post-production are aligned from the beginning.

This approach allows each project to function as both visual output and communication tool, aligned with the identity and positioning of the client.

The Studio

FMR STUDIO is a photography space based in Rome, located at Viale Liegi 1, designed for portrait sessions, small-scale productions and controlled shooting environments.

It supports both independent projects and client work, allowing flexibility between studio-based and on-location production.

The COMMITMENT

Frida began working in community-based initiatives in Nicaragua at the age of seventeen, contributing to cultural, educational and media projects focused on youth and access to information.

She later collaborated on projects related to the Millennium Development Goals, producing visual and communication work, and representing Nicaragua in an international exchange program in Germany.

She went on to found a photography collective, creating free workshops and exhibitions in a context where photographic education was not accessible.

This work continues today through collaborative and pro-bono projects, alongside independent storytelling.
